Where is my sunny and 80???? We got to Portland at around noontime. Joey came by ambulance and I was VERY close behind. All settled in to our "old diggs" and as usual, everyone is being wonderful. Trying to find the cause of the high fever. Had to have the NG tube put back in early this morning (2:30am) so that is taking away the pressure in his belly. Not to be gross, but it is draining constantly! As is the one going to his gallbladder. You could pretty much say he is a hurting duck. Again, the no visitors thing still stands until he can find some kind of relief. He needs sleep bad...I think I do too. I have 12 days left to my count down, so we have to get him better. Let's hope for a much better night tonight.
God Bless and {{hugs}} to all.

Hope you will find some answers to his set back and belly problems back in Portland. I know how much he did not want the old NG tube, but if it releives some of the pain and pressure it will be worth it.Better to get that junk out of you then keep it in you Keep thinking temporary Joey. You both need alot of rest and down time now. Hope the fever soon breaks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will be better weather this weekend.
Call if you need anything. Saying lots of prayers. Love Ya,

Wow! I've been unable to access my computer for several days due to the moving process, so I haven't been able to keep up with the "Lynch Lines". So sorry to hear you have been going through EXTRA challenges (as if you need more, right!:-(). My thoughts and especially prayers have just gone into HIGH gear!!!!! Lots of love to you! Kim Evans (From the better half of Kim and Tom - coming to you all the way from Hermon, Maine - Ha! Ha! Ditto to Tom's posting))
ReplyDeleteDear Kerri and Joey, I want to thank you so much Kerri, for taking the time to keep us all aware of what's going on. You both have been through such a lot (and of course the boys), and I know you must be exhausted. Hopefully, this will be the hospital stay that turns him around, so you both can get back to Lucerne. I am so sorry this has been such a difficult journey for you and your family. Love and prayers to you.

ReplyDeleteyou are both in our thoughts and prayers everyday. This past week has been a rather large "bump" in the road but it sounds like your Doctors are doing their best to stay on top of things and making sure that Joey gets the care he needs. Thanks for taking the time to keep all your friends, family, and the concerned updated and giving us all a chance to express our heart felt good wishes.

hospitals and treatments can be scary and a pain in the....belly--but they have a tendency to make it better. Be patient, breathe deep and use that inner strength! You guys are really AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteToday will be a fading memory and tomorrow will be so much better.
At our house, Rudi (psycho dog) ate the no-bakes off the counter, Jerica put her outside and she dug up the garden. (just the radishes). Derek skipped school to help with Special Olympics--guess thats ok. And Tom found our income tax information from 1982-1998 out in the shed, its been so long since he's been out there that he had an asthma attack and had to take 2 doses of benedryl!! And he doesnt even have asthma....
Hang in there Joey--and skoot ovvva to make room for Kerri in that bed now & then!!
love & kisses

Hey you two! I have had computer problems for a couple weeks so I was unable to keep checking your blog. I was saddened to hear of Joey's set backs. Joey, you are one strong guy so you keep up the fight and let god do the rest. Kerri, you amaze me with your courage. Make sure you both try and get as much rest/down time as possible to fight this battle. We all love you and think of you each and every day. Take care of each other.
