To know Joey and Kerri is to love them. The news of both of them being diagnosed with cancer is heartbreaking. We've created this site so that you can get updates, offer help, and use the guest book to write thoughts of encouragement and love. The outpouring of love and support they are receiving is very wanted and appreciated, however there will be times in the future when the Lynchs may not be able to keep up with phone calls and visits. Please use this site as an alternative means to stay connected.

Talk about a good night's sleep! Our bed has been calling to us and we finally found it!! All is well now that we are home. We had a great time last night watching Caleb and his friends receiving their honor. Of course many friends were there, so we had to shuffle Joey out the back door so he would not be bombarded with everyone wanting to see him. I gladly took that role and it was so wonderful to see everyone. I felt like a Wal-Mart greeter standing at the door except I gave out hugs!!
Back to reality today. Joey is home with his brother while I head to the office to catch up on...well, just EVERYTHING! My friends Joanne and Shelley are going with me to catch the boys tennis match at Erskine Academy this afternoon, so a girls road trip never hurts. Joey has plans of his own which I hope does not consist much more than watching the loons and the eagles!! He has something up his sleeve, but I am not sure what it is. He does need to lay low, but he feels so good about being home, he just cannot sit still!
All is good and Sunny and 80!
God Bless and {{hugs}} to all.

  1. Joey remember rest = heal. Don't overdue. Is it really Sunny and 80??? I hope so cause our Building Official is headed to Waterville to visit his Mom. Last I heard it was nasty and 40! Good luck to the team! Donnie, you and Joey stay out of trouble!

  2. GREAT! I told Leah about Caleb and NHS and she was happy and proud of him, as am I. Listen to your body, Joey..... when you're feeling tired, it's trying to tell you something! LISTEN TO IT! :-) Sleep is the best for you right now. You have been through so very much, give it a chance to recover. You will be back up and around in no time!!! Kerri, Leah is home from school and has nothing to do. Please call her even if you want/need some help in the office with filing etc. (or even running errands). Sunny and 80 is what we like!

    Keep smiling!! (it helps)

    Love ya

  5. I've used the blog to keep track of you guys and the boys. It doesn't seem possible that the boys are so all grown up. I remember holding Caleb in my lap at church many times. You have been and will always be in my prayers. Do take it easy and listen to your body. I learned that the hard way through my battle with the auto-immune and then the Listeria Meningitis this past year. You guys are a fantastic example for everyone and you truely exemplify the "attitude" is the key.
    I LOVE you.

  14. Thoughts and prayers every day to you all, Lynch family. Caleb, congratulations on your NHS induction, it is quite an honor. My little brother's birthday is also the 9th...he is an old fart though at the ripe age of 44. I just turned 49 today, so I'm almost an AARP member!

God bless and keep you all.

  17. So happy you are home Joey. Sleeping in your own bed next to your lovely bride must have been wonderful. Robyn had her NHS Induction last night and I thought of Caleb. Keep that sunny and 80 weather coming! I will be thinking of you on the 17th Kerri!
